Why Water?
Water is vital for all known forms of life (1).  Access to Clean Drinking Water is essential to humans and other life forms.  We must drink or die, it’s that simple. 

With 884 million people lacking access to safe drinking water (2) and 1.6 million children dying every year (One child every 20 seconds) from waterborne diseases (3) it is imperative more and more people get involved to help those less fortunate.  From providing wells, to supplying means of cleaning and improving the water coming from contaminated sources, to teaching everyone the importance of drinking safe, clean drinking water, to teaching individuals about Hygiene and the importance of washing their hands when handling food are just a few of the things which must be done to reduce exposure to disease and save lives.
